Collection : Protection & vulnerability

Cette collection porte autour du concept de protection et de la vulnérabilité qui s’échappe du sentiment de vouloir être protégé(e). Chaque look exprime mon interprétation d’un aspect de protection à travers le vêtement. Le rôle du vêtement est d’apporter confiance à celui qui le porte et ce sentiment passe de plus en plus, dans notre société et instabilité politique, par le sentiment de sécurité. Que ce soit par réelle protection ou bien à travers l’idée ou l’illusion que certaines choses puissent nous protéger. Exprimée par exemple à travers le fait de conduire un SUV tout terrain en ville, porter une veste conçue pour climats extrêmes, à Paris, ou se construire un corps à la salle de sport… Mon but à travers les pièces de cette collection est d’amener celui/celle qui les porte à ressentir la confiance s’émanant du sentiment de protection ou l’illusion de cette protection.

My collection revolves around the concept of protection and the vulnerability that escapes from the feeling of wanting to be protected.Each look expresses my interpretation of an aspect of protection through garments.The role of a piece of clothing is to make those who wear it feel better and confident and this feeling increasingly, in today’s society and political instability, comes through the feeling of protection. Whether by actual protection or through the idea or illusion that certain things can protect us. Expressed for example by driving an all-terrain SUV in the city, wearing a jacket designed for extreme climates, in Paris, or build up muscles at the gym… My goal through the pieces of this collection is to bring the wearer to feel the confidence emanating from the feeling of protection or the illusion of this protection.
