LOLLOMANIA

For this collection, Lollo discovers the essence of his identity through his brand.
The basis of the research is an unbridled passion for LOGOMANIA, which thus leads to a
reflection on what the LOLLO logo can be.

The four Ls create the square, the symbol of matter.
O, the circle is its exact opposite, the intangible, the immaterial.
Thus the dichotomy between Form and spirit is mixed.

The figures meet by fertilizing and giving rise to the whole, regardless of gender.

This discovery embraces the gender themes that are very dear and valuable in our days.

Two polarities are thus generated that create a territory.
Meeting point between reality and perception between matter and abstract, sign and symbol,
fluid and geometric, day and night.

A dichotomy that goes to characterize the most intimate essence of the brand capable of
complementing each other through two opposite but necessary gestures to each other.

The Logo is becoming for Lollo a kaleidoscope to look at the world.
An interpretative base for the wearer, a transition between a graphic sign and a lifestyle.
The natural evolution that gives birth to a brand from the logo.

LOGOS in the pentateuch written in Aramaic has the meaning of CREATE, BECOME,
THE COMMAND OF GENERATION.

Lollo overcomes homologation by restoring through the brand the expressive capacity of its
audience.

Lollo is narrative between perceived reality and worn form.

The aesthetics of Lollomania are strongly influenced by elements very dear to the designer and
ever-present in his universe.

and of course the LOGOMANIA.

THE HAUTE COUTURE

Lorenzo in his collection refers especially to the techniques and shapes used by the great
designers of the 1950s/60s such as Cristobal Balenciaga and Christian Dior.
In fact, in the collection we find processes such as metal mesh or embroidery that are typically
used in couture.

THE BLING

A passion for bling is another characteristic of Lollo.
In fact, we fHE ind in the collection many details such as logos or inscriptions made with Swarovski

crystals that give light and a precious and at the same time kitsch effect to the garments.

THE BLACK AND WHITE AESTHETIC

Designer’s favorite colors.
They take over the collection dominating it almost completely.
A passion probably unconsciously influenced by Lorenzo’s unbridled passion for Karl Lagerfeld.

THE CHIC

The exclamation «CHE CHIC,» typical of the designer.
A phrase said with irony, which is typically associated with an aesthetic of what for centuries has
been identified as classic beauty.

THE CHOC

The exclamation «CHE CHOC,» often follows the «that chic» always with irony to go to identify
the exact opposite of that which Lollo loves.
In his universe, however, the two aesthetics often tend to meet.

THE STEREOTYPE OF THE BOURGEOISIE

Lollo has always been fascinated by the aesthetics of the classical bourgeoisie-fur, jewelry,
judgmental looks, and plastic surgery.
In the collection as in the choice of some casting elements we find this aesthetic revisited with
strong irony.

THE LOGOMANIA

Lorenzo is a lifelong victim of logomania.
Having found no cure, he has been forced to make it a fundamental part of his vision and
aesthetic.
And so it was that logomania met Lollo giving birth to LOLLOMANIA.
